Training & Development

Your development means our development. From the moment you join, we’ll make sure you’re continually up-to-speed with all the elements of your role. Whatever else you want to get our of your career with us, we’re here to support you in your aims.

When you join, we’ll give you structured training on our computer and phone systems so that you know exactly what’s expected of you before you actually speak to our customers. You’ll be paid throughout your training, and because you have a life outside work, we offer a variety of training options: evenings, weekends or daytime - and at both sites. Here are some examples.

Example Timetables of Training for new Directory Staff
Evening 6pm-10pm 8-10 Weeks Monday to Friday
Weekend 9am-5pm 8-10 Weekends Saturday & Sunday
Daytime 9am-5pm 4-5 weeks Monday to Friday

Whatever option you choose, you’ll work alongside an experienced sponsor who will support and coach you while you prepare to take live calls from customers.

As you settle into the role, there will be two further levels of training in the first few months of joining - so you’ll be fully equipped to give our customers the best possible service and assistance.
