industry experience. If you are degree qualified, your passion and commitment are
far more important to us than the subject you studied.
Application Timescales: Following you making a successful application online, there are 4 further stages for you to complete. Typically the whole recruitment process can take approximately 3-4 months. However, please be aware that for our Trainee Buyer schemes, due to their popularity, this may take considerably longer.
The 4 stages are as follows: Online Ability Testing: You will be sent an email invitation to complete the tests within 3 weeks of making your application. If you are applying for Merchandising, we will ask you to complete numerical and verbal tests but for Buying, it will just be the verbal only.
Video Interview: Should you successfully pass the online test, you will be advised via email and will then be invited to participate in a video interview. You will be given 5 days to upload a video answering the questions that we set. We review these videos approximately every 4-6 weeks and you will be contacted accordingly.
Telephone Interview: Providing you successfully pass the video interview, we will then contact you to arrange your Telephone Interview. These are conducted approximately every 8 weeks. The interview itself will last approximately 30 minutes and will always be conducted by a member of the Buying or Merchandising team.
Assessment Centre: If you’ve been successful in getting to this stage, you are now 1 step away from joining us. Our assessment centres last for half a day and are held frequently throughout the year at our Head Office in Leicestershire.
