Training & Development

To help you make a flying start to your career in our Warehouse Team we’ll give you an extensive induction, welcoming you to Next and answering any questions you may have.

From your very first day with us you’ll be given training, coaching and support to help you understand your new role and responsibilities.

In fact, your first weeks at Next will feature all kinds of structured, in-depth training sessions, delivered by our expert trainers and designed to give you all the information you need to succeed in your role.

These training sessions are arranged to fit around what we need as a business, so during training we may ask you to be in at weekends, evenings or weekdays before your usual shift patterns start. Don’t worry though, you get paid for all the time you spend training with us.

Emily

Warehouse Operative

Being a motivated and confident person makes Next the perfect place for Emily to work. With 5 years so far at Next, she's excited for the next 5 to see what challenges will be thrown her way. Her favourite perk to date was the first aid training she received, and the graduate scheme she will be embarking upon in the coming months.

Mick

Team Coach

Mick was drawn to Next because he knew if he could get his foot through the door and show off his talent, he'd be able to work hard and develop quickly. His favourite part about being a Team Coach is that he doesn't have a ‘typical’ day. As a result he gets to work with a great variety of different people who support him tremendously.

David

HR Systems Analyst

There are all kinds of ways in which David has found his time with us rewarding. He joined our HR Team five years ago and since then has enjoyed plenty of training, perks and, best of all, the chance to share in our success through our employee Sharesave scheme.
