### How We Hire
We hire for a wide range of roles, so some steps may vary, but most journeys follow these four stages.
### 1. Apply
Show us what you can do. Submit your application online and our recruitment team will take a first look at your experience and strengths.
### 2. Inform
Let’s talk. We will get in touch for an initial conversation by phone or video to learn more about you and share what the team is looking for.
### 3. Review
If you are invited to interview, you may be asked to present your work or portfolio and talk through your experience. It is also your chance to ask questions and get to know us.
### 4. Offer
If it’s the right match, our recruitment team will be in touch with a job offer and next steps. This is where your journey with NEXT begins.

### How do I apply for a role?
[Search for a role](), click Apply Now and follow the steps. If you cannot apply online, email careers@next.co.uk or call our recruitment team.
### I am having technical problems. What should I do?
If your application is not submitting or something does not look right, email careers@next.co.uk and we will help you get back on track.
### Is there an age limit for joining NEXT?
No. We welcome people of all ages and experience levels. You only need to be old enough to leave school in the UK.

### Do I need to disclose criminal convictions?
Only unspent or pending convictions need to be shared.
### I have worked at NEXT before. How do I return?
Welcome back. Apply through the site as normal and our team will guide you through the process.
### Can I apply for the Trainee scheme if I graduate in the summer?
Yes. Apply now. The process takes around 3 to 4 months and we can plan a start date that works for you.
### What documents do I need to prove my right to work?

### Managing Your Application
### I have applied. What happens next?
You will get a confirmation email once we receive your application. Reviews can take a few weeks depending on volume.
### Why have I not heard back?
You should expect to hear an update within two weeks of the advert expiry date. Trainee scheme reviews can take up to 8 weeks. 

Please reach out to the Recruiter listed on the requisition if you have any questions in the meantime.
### Will I receive feedback?
We can offer feedback only if you reach a telephone/video interview or assessment.
### How do I log into my profile?
Click Manage Profile (icon in the top right) and enter your email. We will send you a code so you can view your applications and alerts.
### Can I change my application details?
Personal information can be edited in Manage Profile (click the icon in the top right). Once you submit application forms, those sections cannot be changed.
### Can I withdraw my application?
Yes. Go to Manage Profile (click the icon in the top right), sign in and withdraw from any active roles.
### Can I use the same application for more than one role?
Yes. Your profile saves your personal details for future applications.
### What happens when I am offered a role?
Our recruitment team will contact you to confirm your offer, start date and contract details.
### When are references checked?
If references are applicable to your role, your recruiter will inform you. Where required, references are requested after you accept a formal offer and are subject to being satisfactory.
### Will I need a credit check?
Only for certain roles that involve sensitive financial information.
