Our Charity Support

We are extremely proud of the work we do to support our chosen charity, which is selected annually through an employee vote. Each department is challenged to raise money by holding an event of their choice, which in previous years has included silent auctions, raffles, a Lipsy carnival day and individual challenges including the London Marathon and The Great North Swim.

In 2017 we raised an amazing £11,764 for the Alzheimer’s Society and in 2018, our raised a staggering £21,875 for Mind UK.

For 2019, we have chosen to support a local charity located just minutes from our Head Office called The Soup Kitchen. Founded in 1986, The Soup Kitchen is a resource for the homeless, elderly, lonely and poor in Central London. To this end, they provide free hot meals, clothes and toiletries, and the space provided offers a sense of belonging and community for those who are in need.

The Lipsy team will be volunteering at the charity on a regular basis, to provide an opportunity to meet people in the local community who are homeless and see first-hand how this brilliant charity works day to day.

Code of Practice

Lipsy is part of the Next Plc group, and we work alongside their Code of Practice team to responsibly manage our supply chain. Through our international in-house audit team, we work closely with our suppliers to ensure the integrity of any product carrying the Lipsy name and the welfare of all workers involved.

Our ethical trading programme aims to develop and improve worker conditions and safety, help prevent modern slavery, support and celebrate good ethical standards and implement sustainable programs and initiatives.
