Summary

Warehouse Operative- Dearne Valley Boxed / Dearne Valley Pallet

Pay Rates and Benefits:

Daytime hours (06:00 to 22:00) £12.99 to £13.30 per hour.

Night shifts (22:00 to 06:00) £15.58 to £15.89 per hour.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to earn a performance bonus.

Working Schedule Dearne Valley Boxed:

  • Fri-Mon 05:00-13:30
  • Wed/Thu-Sat 03:00-15:00
  • Tue-Sat 13:30-22:00
  • Fri-Mon 05:00-13:30

Working Schedule Dearne Valley Pallet:

  • Sun-Thurs 12:00 - 18:00
  • Sun-Thurs 06:00-14:30
  • Tues-Sat 06:00-14:30
  • Fri-Mon 06:00-14:30
  • Sun-Wed/Sun-Tues 13:00-01:00
  • Wed-Sat/Thurs-Sat 13:00-01:00

Core Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders for stores using a headset
  • Putting boxes onto conveyor belt or taking boxes off the conveyor belt
  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Scanning stock back into the system

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Physically capable of manual handling and lifting items up to 25kg
  • A decisive thinker who can maintain a fast work pace
  • Committed to following rigorous health and safety protocols
  • Possesses strong teamwork and communication abilities
  • Dedicated to meeting efficiency targets
  • Flexible regarding movement within the warehouse throughout the shift
  • Adaptable and willing to support different departments as required
  • Displays a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn
