About the job

The Creative lead will be central in setting the shoot direction across all Campaign and E-com shoots, as well as working collaboratively with Marketing to support Social Shoots if and when needed. As such the Creative lead will be instilling the Brand DNA across all deliverables both stills and video for E-commerce imagery and Paid Marketing assets.

As a Creative Lead you will be working collaboratively with Shoot / Buying / Design / Marketing teams to ensure the vision of the brand is effectively delivered within budget and deadline across all channels.

In your day-to-day duties, informed by product direction set by the Buying team, the Creative lead will develop on-brand shoot concepts across Ecommerce, Campaign & if required Social shoots. You will pitch presentations and produce creative photography and video briefs in order to deliver premium creative content across various platforms.

The role is a highly collaborative role working closely with the Head of Creative and key stakeholders of the Shoot Team & Buying Team. The role splits time both in the head office (W1), in-house photo studio (NW10) as well as on set location - travel (including international) required at times.

Role Responsibilities

  • Executing innovative, commercial, high quality creative direction across stills and video content for all platforms and end uses
  • Collaborating with the Shoot Team across Pre Production, Production and Post Production - covering all areas of creative from concepts and set design to on-set directing and edit
  • Collaborating with various key departments and business partners in Buying, Marketing and Design
  • Partnering closely with Shoot Producers to meet tight deadlines & budgets
  • Working closely with Heads of Brand to ensure vision is carried out from product through to shoot & content direction
  • Forging and maintaining relationships with photographers, videographers and other vendors
  • Up to date with emerging trends in fashion, styling, social media, video, design, and technology where relevant to Lipsy.
  • Planning and executing Ecom and Campaign Shoots, ensuring art direction reflects the unique personality of the brand, learning from experience whilst injecting newness to stay relevant
  • Driving the development of AD moodboard and video storyboard for Brand Paid Marketing Campaigns (stills & video): location, model and look & feel - signed off by Head of Creative
  • Attending ecom shoots as often as possible to ensure consistency as standards
  • Leading the shoot briefing crew and models to ensure a smooth and efficient shoot day resulting in a high standard of imagery
  • Collaborating with both photography and video teams
  • Mentoring Art Directors on brand direction
  • Attentive, efficient and confident to problem solve if needed
  • Briefing and working with the Video Editor to translate the captured content into high quality Paid Marketing assets: from sourcing music to final cut as well as managed deadline
