Summary

Working Pattern: Typically 5 days in the office, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

The Role
With our online business constantly growing, our Assistant Buyers have a joint venture to support in creating attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They work closely with our Designers, Merchandisers and Technologists to create stylish new collections for every season.

You’ll be joining the Buying team within Menswear, offering them key support for the buying, developing and reviewing of seasonal ranges. You’ll have key responsibilities at every stage of the process, starting from helping Buyers to formulate proposals for range restructure – considering everything from market opportunities to new trends.

You’ll help to develop and plan commercially successful ranges, taking into account sales data, price architecture and brand DNA. As well as communicating design briefs and considering various issues such as price, quality and lead times. Analyse sales data and trends, acting quickly to identify new opportunities. You’ll also plan and manage any necessary meetings to ensure issues are quickly identified and resolved.

You’ll be responsible for accurately maintaining progress systems and ensuring critical dates and deadlines are met. You’ll also build productive relationships with external suppliers as well as provide support and development opportunities to Trainees in your team.

You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office… A fast-paced, encouraging and inspiring environment where we never underestimate what we can do.

So bring your energy, play to your strengths and never shy away from change. Push yourself, and back others. And make things happen that will be bigger and better than before. If you’re customer-focused, self-motivated and organised, have a keen eye for detail and an investigative mind, and can’t wait to start building relationships, this is the place for you – and your career.

With our online business constantly growing, Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base, our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They collaborate with our Designers, Merchandisers and Technologists to put together stylish new collections for every season.
