Summary

The Role:


As the Crime Centre Manager, you will be the driving force behind our Retail Loss Prevention and Security operations. You will lead a dedicated team of Operatives, ensuring our retail sites remain secure through proactive surveillance and strategic investigation.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will bridge the gap between high-level security data and on the ground operational excellence. You will oversee the day to day functions of the Crime Centre, ensuring that every operation, report, and investigation is handled with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.

What You’ll Take On:

You will maintain a safe and secure environment across all retail sites by managing both people and processes effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring a high-performing team. You will foster a great culture, focusing on individual development and emotional resilience.
  • Managing live and retrospective CCTV patrols,, and the accuracy of our Case Management system.
  • Reviewing evidential investigation packs for internal and external use, ensuring all material is admissible and secured in accordance with GDPR and company policy.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for Police, crime reduction partnerships, and internal operational teams. You will also provide confidential updates to senior management.
  • Ensuring the Health & Safety of the Crime Centre, hosting guests with a professional front-of-house approach, and managing site incidents or accidents with calm authority.
  • Utilising Microsoft and Google suites to deliver detailed, data-driven reports to the wider Loss Prevention Management team.


What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for a proven leader who balances a firm grasp on security protocols with a people-focused and positive mindset.

  • A proven track record of motivating teams in fast-paced environments and a passion for coaching others to reach their full potential.
  • Extensive experience with CCTV systems, access control, and IT suites (Google/Microsoft).
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, with a professional telephone manner and the ability to listen and interpret complex information.
  • Total commitment to confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information with absolute accuracy.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work under minimal supervision and make decisive, informed calls.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexibility to work a shift pattern that includes late shifts and weekends at our Dearne Valley site, including travel to industry and business events
