Summary

As our Senior Set Builder, you will be the driving force behind the physical spaces that bring NEXT’s fashion visions to life.

Based at our Premier Park studios in London, you’ll lead a dedicated team in constructing bespoke, high-quality sets that serve as the backdrop for our world-class visual content.

You won't just be building; you’ll be a key creative collaborator, translating shoot briefs into reality and ensuring every technical detail is met with precision. Whether you’re in the workshop, on set, or in the office, you’ll have the autonomy to manage resources and develop processes, making a tangible impact on the team and every project that we deliver.


What you’ll take on

  • Lead and organise the team’s daily workload, ensuring all bespoke sets are built to our exacting standards.
  • Manage personnel and resources effectively to streamline studio operations and meet tight shoot deadlines.
  • Oversee the procurement of essential materials and ensure all workshop machinery is expertly maintained.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to help visualise shoot briefs, bringing your creative problem-solving skills to the table.
  • Maintain a safe and functional working environment across the workshop, studios, and location sets.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of development and high-quality craftsmanship.


What you’ll bring

  • Expert carpentry skills and a proven track record in set building or a closely related field.
  • Natural leadership abilities, with the confidence to manage a team and coordinate complex tasks.
  • A resilient mindset, staying calm and effective when priorities shift in a fast-paced environment.
  • An exceptional eye for detail and design, with a personal commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A proactive, positive attitude toward problem-solving and workshop management.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and lead your team.
  • A full UK Driving Licence to support our work across various locations.
