Summary

The Role
Step into the role of Visual Merchandiser here at Joules Head Office within our friendly and creative Visual Merchandising Team, which is part of the Marketing department.

This role is an opportunity for a visual storyteller to lead on the end to end journey of our wholesale and trade show presence, ensuring every display captures Joules. You will ensure our brand looks its best wherever our customers find us. It is a busy, varied role that celebrates the small stuff, perfect for someone who loves to mix commercial savvy with a genuine eye for beautiful, functional design.

Working Pattern: This is a field-based role with a split focus between our stores and our purpose-built Head Office, ‘The Barn’, in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. You will spend a significant portion of your time out in the field at our retail locations, as well as setting up and attending trade shows. The typical hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, however due to the nature of the role and scheduled events throughout the year, a high degree of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.

Our Location
Market Harborough in Leicestershire, is where Joules began in 1989. This market town is home to the brand’s Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike.

What You’ll Do
Showroom Experience: Lead the end to end process for our wholesale showrooms and trade shows, ensuring our range feels fresh and effortless at every turn.

Creative Execution: Plan and deliver seasonal showroom campaigns and trade show setups, maintaining an impeccable standard that delights our partners.

Collaborate and Align: Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure all POS, photography, and featured products are perfectly in sync with the showroom layout.

Shape the Season: Attend range handovers to truly understand our seasonal collections, allowing you to support future setups with authentic insight.

Plan with Precision: Take responsibility for showroom and trade show plans, liaising with store designers and the Senior VM to manage option counts and spatial layouts.

Commercial Curation: Support product selection for trade shows, ensuring everything we showcase is commercially viable, and excitingly new.

Empower the Team: Coordinate setups with the wider VM team and train sales managers on visual standards so they can champion the Joules look when visiting wholesale accounts.

Next & Concessions: Support the Senior VM in our partnership with Next stores, visiting spaces pre-launch to understand the footprint and develop innovative ideas that boost brand presence.

Bespoke Retail Strategy: Build tailored grading packs and capsule builds for specific locations, from bustling market towns to our favourite coastal spots, ensuring the stock package is just right for the local customer.

Refresh and Renew: Manage the branding refresh process for till points, windows, and fitting rooms, ensuring seasonal imagery and high level visuals are always up to date.

Operational Excellence: Act as the main point of contact for print suppliers and store teams for any reprints or visual issues, keeping our brand looking its best.

Total Brand Support: Assist with head office retail previews, event setups, and the sourcing of mannequins, while working ahead of the season with the teams to align on styling and allocation.

We aren’t just growing; we’re evolving at pace. We are currently on an exciting trajectory and you won’t just be part of the journey, you’ll be part of driving our evolution during our most exciting chapter yet.
