Summary

Working Pattern: 2 days a week onsite, with core hours between 8am to 6pm.

The Role
As a Print & Graphics Designer (Womenswear) at Next Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our upcoming seasonal collections. This is a fast-paced, highly creative 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) where your designs will directly impact what lands on the high street.

Working closely with our in-house buying, sourcing, and supplier teams, you will turn emerging global trends into commercial, elevated products that resonate deeply with the Next customer. The role can be based from our offices in London or Leicester!

Next Sourcing are at the heart of finding, developing and delivering the products our customers love, wear and use every day. Located across the globe, our Next Sourcing teams specialise in all different parts of the sourcing operation, from design and technology to product development.

What You’ll Take On

  • Design original, standout print and graphic concepts across the Womenswear category, reacting quickly to design briefs and fast-turnaround requests.
  • Research and translate global fashion trends, color palettes, and techniques into elevated, commercially viable products.
  • Utilise excellent hand-painting techniques alongside advanced CAD work to build versatile, production-ready designs.
  • Collaborate daily with buyers, sourcing teams, and external factories to ensure designs are delivered on time, within cost parameters, and to exact technical specifications.
  • Drive both core line development and project-based capsule collections, multi-tasking effectively to meet critical path deadlines.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record (retailer or supplier background) designing for a high volume, similar sized fashion retailer.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with a sharp eye for both graphic layouts and intricate print design.
  • A beautiful hand-painting ability combined with strong CAD skills to bring diverse artistic styles to life.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a confident approach to working with cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and factories.
  • Superb organisation skills and the resilience to stay calm, focused, and creative during peak, high-pressure deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for Womenswear and an intuitive understanding of the latest market trends, printing techniques, and fabrications.
