Summary

As a Digital Learning Specialist within our Head Office, you will make a significant impact on our in-house Talent & Development by helping to build a truly innovative digital learning environment for NEXT employees.

Day-to-day, you will be hands-on in designing, developing, and producing a wide range of engaging digital learning content, from e-learning modules and animations to interactive videos and resources. You will work closely with the Digital Learning Lead, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure our T&D team meets project requirements and actively enhance the overall learning experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and technically skilled individual to push boundaries and bring fresh ideas to life during a 12 month Maternity cover.

  • Support the day-to-day administration of our Learning Experience Platform (Thrive Learning) by consistently uploading, organising, and maintaining content.
  • Produce accurate reports using the Thrive reporting suite and create L&D data dashboards.
  • Identify and quickly address technical issues or design challenges related to e-learning content and digital platforms.
  • Stay informed about new trends, tools, and best practices in e-learning to contribute ideas for continuous improvement and engaging learning solutions.

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrable experience in both the creation and editing of engaging e-learning content.
  • Practical experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, including tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Express.
  • The agility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and confidently deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with a dedicated customer focus to meet the needs of learners and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, manage your own workload effectively, and execute project plans with close attention to detail.
  • While not essential, proficiency in Articulate 360/Rise or Vyond Animation, experience in capturing and editing video content, or holding a recognised L&D qualification (such as CIPD or LPI) would be highly beneficial.
