The Role:

The Data Team enables the department and the business to elevate understanding of customer behaviours, marketing investment and sales performance - what is working and what is not by articulating actionable insights from complex data.

As a Senior Digital Web Analyst, you’ll work to understand on-site visitor behaviour & experiences, and highlight profit opportunities to the business. You will analyse sales, marketing performance and customer journey and provide actionable insights to drive the sales growth globally.

What You’ll Take On:

  • Working with the relevant eCommerce teams (trading, marketing, data teams) to improve sales and conversion across both Web and App.
  • Participating in regular, in person discussions with the International trading team to align strategies and share insights.
  • Identifying sales opportunities through continuous review of site conversion, customer journey and commercial and marketing performance from Google Analytics and Heatmap data.
  • Interrogating and analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources - including customer, transactional online data and website metrics
  • Presenting complex analytical findings into clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate “so what” with actionable recommendations.
  • Designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting to track KPIs, campaign metrics and website performance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Ability to communicate complex data and insights in a simple way to colleagues and stakeholders and hone in on key findings, whilst clearly and succinctly answering the “so what?” question.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into a measurement brief.
  • Experience working with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Heatmap tools) and marketing platforms (e.g. Google Search, Meta Business Manager).
  • Creating dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience extracting and manipulating data from denormalised sources using SQL, Biq Query and Databricks.
  • Confident using Google Sheets and Slides to manipulate and present data.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Web Analytics implementation and debugging methods.
  • Familiarity with session tracking and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience working on an ecommerce site.
  • Experience working across the retail or fashion industry.
