Summary
The role
We are looking for a number of LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of our E3 warehouse in South Elmsall, Pontefract and our DVP warehouse in Dearne Valley and Rotherham.
Salary & Pay Rates:
Base salary of £18.05 per hour. We also pay additional premium rates, weekly overtime x1.3, and rest day working of x1.5 plus you'll be part of our Driver bonus scheme.
Enhanced All-Inclusive Hourly Rates:
- Standard Weekday Rate (Mon–Fri, 06:00–22:00): £18.05 / hr
- Daytime Saturday Premium (06:00–22:00): £21.05 / hr
- Daytime Sunday Premium (06:00–22:00): £23.05 / hr
- Night Shift (Sun–Thu, 22:00–06:00): £21.05 / hr
- Friday Night Shift (22:00–06:00): £23.05 / hr
Saturday Night Shift (22:00–06:00): £25.60 / hr
Overtime Rates:
- Weekly Overtime: £23.47 / hr (1.3x base rate)
- Scheduled Day Off / 6th Shift Rate: £27.08 / hr (1.5x base rate)
Plus participation in our Driver bonus scheme.
Your Role with us:
- You'll be a part of our critical distribution operation transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores.
- Adopt a 'Safety First' mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public, or your colleagues.
- Most shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 rota shift pattern.
- Typical shift patterns shown below including the times you will start between on each band, please make sure when you apply you specify what times you can work between.
Elmsall Band A & B (42 hrs) - A - 02:50 - 06:30, B - 06:31 - 10:59
Elmsall Band C & D & E (45 hrs) - C - 11:00 - 17:00, D - 17:01 - 21:29, E - 21:30 - 01:59
Elmsall Part Time Band D & E - Fri/Sat (18 hrs) - D - 17:01 - 21:29, E - 21:30 - 01:59
Dearne Band A (42 hrs) - 04:00 - 08:00
Dearne Band C & D (45hrs) - C - 10:30 - 17:00, D - 17:01 - 23:00
Dearne Part Time C - Sat/Sun (18 hrs) - 10:30-17:00
Dearne Part Time D - Fri/Sat (18 hrs) - 17:01 - 23:00
What you’ll bring
- Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers

Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training.
