The Role
Step into the role of Womenswear Buyer.

Discover an exciting opportunity to take on an integral role here at Joules Head Office working within the Womenswear Buying team. This will involve pulling together multiple product ranges as well as running the Womenswear department.

Working Pattern
This is a full time role based at ‘The Barn’ - Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The typical hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and this is an onsite role.

Our Location
Market Harborough in Leicestershire, is where Joules began in 1989. This market town is home to the brand’s Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike.

What You’ll Do
Prepare to be part of a dynamic, hard-working, collaborative and inspirational team, creating and bringing product to market season after season for our iconic British brand. You can expect a journey outlined with clear goals and aspirations shared by the whole business whilst building cross-collaborative relationships including the opportunity to work with our Founder; Tom Joule, and his Senior Team who have a wealth of knowledge to share.

  • Create commercially successful ranges and maximise sales.
  • Plan the range, taking into account analysis and price architecture.
  • Analyse sales data, acting quickly to identify and introduce changes.
  • Effectively manage your team, delegating resources and workload while ensuring team members are motivated and focused to get the very best from our Buying team.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers, defining business plans for mutual growth and to leverage relationships.
  • Interpret the impact of shifting micro and macro influences to manage risk.
  • Ensure all documentation and data is accurate in order to meet the required standards and understand the impact of inaccuracies.
  • Focus on the bottom line and understand the impact of all decisions on the business.
  • This particular role will focus on Womenswear.

What You’ll Bring
To really shine within the role of Womenswear Buyer, you should be someone who can work flexibly and at pace. From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:

  • Senior Buying Expertise: You bring extensive experience within the Womenswear sector, demonstrating a proven track record of managing high-value categories. You are comfortable making strategic, high-stakes decisions and have the seasoned perspective necessary to mentor junior team members and shape the long-term direction of our collections.
  • A Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a dynamic team environment where sharing ideas is just as important as getting the job done.
  • A Keen Eye for Detail: You understand the small stuff that makes our iconic brand stand out, from a perfectly placed button to the durability of a classic coat.
  • Commercial Confidence: You possess the ability to bring products to market season after season while keeping our clear business goals and aspirations in sight.
  • Relationship Brilliance: You are a natural at building cross-collaborative links, whether you are chatting with the design studio or learning from our senior leadership's wealth of knowledge.


Sponsorship
In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment. Joules does not hold a Sponsor Licence and would not, therefore, be able to sponsor a successful candidate under the Skilled Worker route. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the right to work without sponsorship.
