HR Services Administrator

The role

As an HR Services Administrator, you will play a key part in keeping our employee lifecycle running smoothly from day one. You’ll make a real difference by ensuring accurate employee records, delivering seamless administration, and serving as a trusted point of contact for our employees and line managers. Working closely with the wider HR, Payroll and Recruitment teams, you’ll be fully supported with all the training and guidance you need to hit the ground running and succeed in your role at NEXT.

What you'll take on

• Manage end-to-end recruitment admin, from generating offer letters and processing new starters to conducting background and Right to Work checks.

• Handle key employee lifecycle administration, including contract changes, family leave paperwork, reference requests, and leaver details.

• Maintain accurate records on our HR system (NEP), processing updates to job roles, absences, and personal details while running regular reports to ensure data integrity.

• Act as a first point of contact for employee queries via the HR mailbox and phone lines, providing clear guidance on company policies, terms and conditions, and pay processes.

• Support payroll and compliance activities, ensuring key monthly payments are processed on time and conducting necessary Visa and Sharecode checks.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in an HR administration or customer service environment, with a strong focus on helping others.

• Advanced skills in Google Applications and a natural comfort with learning and navigating HR systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly, acts with honesty, and uses initiative to solve problems.

• A privacy-conscious mindset with an understanding of GDPR guidelines and handling sensitive data discreetly
