Assistant Merchandiser - Beauty

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our growing beauty team.

 

Working alongside Buying, you will use analysis and experience to forecast sales and sock levels whilst building a commercial range together to ensure our customers have something to satisfy their needs.

 

Within this role you will

Support the trading and planning process by providing accurate and timely analysis.

Develop and maintain regular contact with the supplier base to ensure they are aware of trading performance.

Support the Merchandising team with producing and maintain key planning sheets.

Manage the product into the business in a timely manner to maximise sales and profit.

Be responsible for ensuring intake targets are achieved and ensure launch product is delivered in a timely manner.

Develop a strong understanding of product performance across the various channels and understand how to impact performance.

Contribute to department strategy demonstrating an ability to recognise innovative ideas and solutions, which have a commercial gain.

Manage and lead the team, developing the Merchandise Assistants through their development programme, by identifying and setting measurable objectives and developing a flexible management style as appropriate to their needs.

Wholesale Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wholesale Account Manager to join our Wholesale department on a 12-month contract. Reporting into the Wholesale Director, you will manage and ensure the smooth running of Lipsy’s Key Account.

 

Within this role you will

  • Manage own portfolio of wholesale accounts, building new and managing existing relationships with our customers, providing them with excellent customer service which is prompt, informative and proactive manner
  • Manage and maintain the critical paths to ensure smooth delivery of all product to customer
  • Advise customers regarding delivery schedules and progress of product within the production cycle
  • Regularly communicate with other departments including Sales, Retail, Shipping and Credit to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Attend fit sessions for garment sealing in order to
  • Collate & analyses best seller, attribute & market information in conjunction with new trend & design direction on a weekly basis, sharing this detail with the team
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of department performance and profit drivers and presents information effectively
  • Maintain regular contact with supplier base to ensure that they are aware of trading performance, their role within this, any implications as a result of reforecast

 

If you possess the following qualities, this could be a fantastic opportunity:

  • Experience of managing the ASOS account from a multiproduct womenswear business
  • Sound knowledge of Excel including V Look Up
  • Strong commercial awareness of the retail industry and a good knowledge of product

Designer - Jersey Smarts & Seperates

At Lipsy, Design is the very heart of our business and we set trends both for the rest of our business and for our customers. We have a very exciting opportunity for a Designer to join our team, designing our Jersey & Smart Separates collection.

 

Not only will you embark on the Lipsy girl’s fashion journey and become an integral part of a highly talented Design team, you’ll also work alongside some of the best Buyers in the industry. Your challenge is to bring new ideas to life, to create and to be courageous and of course to be commercial.

 

Your background in designing multiproduct Jersey & Smart Separates within a fashion retailer, coupled with your understanding of garment construction and manufacturing techniques will enable you to understand the pace and detail that we work with to design and create beautiful collections for our Lipsy girl. You must have experience of the whole design and development process from trend research to sample development as well as have excellent drawing skills, hand drawing skills is essential.

Interim Senior Integrated Designer

At Lipsy, we always look to create the most inspirational designs to captivate and engage our Lipsy customer. Our Integrated Design Team are involved in creating and delivering exciting projects across the business both print as well as digital. We are looking for an experienced Senior Integrated Designer to join our team on an interim basis to cover maternity. This is an interim position for up to 12 months and you will report into the Integrated Design Manager and working alongside a team of dynamic Designers.

 

You will have the opportunity to manage and deliver highly creative designs for Lipsy and Brands at Lipsy. You will challenge and collaborate on project briefs to ensure the design is strong and relevant whilst pushing the Lipsy business along online and in print. Your ability to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders will enable you to successfully manage projects from start to finish. You will have a natural ability to lead by example to drive high quality creative work for the business.

 

Relevant print design experience for a retail fashion brand is desirable, however not essential. What’s important is that you have an interest in commercial trading online and retail and an understanding of how a brand communicates with its customer. You will have the ability to work under pressure, have excellent organisation skills and strong problem solving skills. You must also have the ability to use adobe suite, motion graphic skills is a bonus.

Beauty Marketing Executive

 

We have an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join the Beauty team as a Beauty Marketing Executive. We’re looking for a creative, commercial and forward-thinking individual who has a love for all things Beauty!

 

A little bit about you and an insight into your role:

Insights:

  • Support the Buying & Merchandising teams to build the beauty marketing strategy and to contribute to successful marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Support the Beauty department with online & offline line marketing activity and projects, specifically related to Beauty
  • Co-ordinate, schedule and plan marketing activity to amplify Next Beauty and be one of the driving forces in growing the platform
  • Plan and brief creative content for emails and landing pages
  • Ensure all digital creative assets are briefed and delivered on time to the creative team
  • Ensure all marketing activity and copy is aligned with the correct tone of voice
  • Work closely with beauty Buying & Merchandising and Next Marketing to create successful launches for Next Beauty brand
  • Research competitor activity and continuously seek out new creative opportunities

Within this role you will support the Supply Chain Coordinators with day to day intake, manage dispatches and resolve all queries from key stakeholder departments. Within this role you will provide assistance and support to the team to potentialise the sales and efficiency of the website through optimising search engine opportunities and ensuring our customers are accurately provided with all the appropriate detail to make considered purchases. If you posses the following qualities, we want to hear from you!

 

  • Understanding of Womenswear, Menswear and Beauty product terminology.

Assistant Supply Chain Manager

 

We are recruiting for an Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join our growing Supply Chain team. Within this role you will lead and manage the team to provide excellent service to key stakeholders whilst taking responsibility of system improvements, stream lining processes and data analysis.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide monthly analysis on business unit forecasting, FOB cargo receipt and warehouse throughput/performance. Takes ownership of KPI’s and drive improvements at every opportunity.  
  • Provide induction plans and oversee training for all new starters within Supply Chain team
  • Oversee regular review meetings with 3rd party service providers
  • Manage/oversee updates to all Lipsy Supplier Manuals hosted online
  • Work on short and medium term projects for process/operational improvement within the department and internal
  • Work closely with the systems teams with spec, implementation and testing of new processes/systems
  • Overall accountability for DVP Beauty Project

Merchandise Admin Assistant

About the team

We’re currently recruiting for a Merchandise Admin Assistant to join our ever growing Brands team.

 

Within your role, you will:

Own the achievement of the Critical Path in terms of guaranteeing that stock is receipted into the business and processed in a timely manner through to the product going live. You will work with the team and suppliers whilst providing admin support to progress results. This role is responsible for maximising the profitability of each line via the website.

 

Criteria

  • Strong analytical skills and a love of Excel
  • Strong team ethos – working together and building excellent relationships with your         team along with all other key partnerships
  • An awareness of high street, catwalk and competitor key trends
  • Great problem solving skills
