Being one of Britain’s biggest retailers, with a rapidly growing online business means our behind-the-scenes operation has to be efficient, fast and very, very big.
It’s all about getting the right product to the right place in the most efficient way, and whether you’re working in logistics, technology or with the systems software that keeps our warehouse flowing, you’ll be doing a busy, important and rewarding job.
That’s why, as well as looking for great skills and impressive experience, we want people with energy, a positive attitude and a real commitment to helping exceed the expectations of customers all over the world.
To help you get a picture for just how huge an operation this is, what if we told you that we employ over 7,000 people across our different distribution sites?
But our Warehouse Team is about much more than size. We handle over 350 million units a year, so it’s vital that everything we do is precise. That’s why we’ve invested so much in the technology we use, some of the most advanced of its kind.
And of course, great technology needs great people to make it work. Which is why, when you join our Warehouse Team we do all we can to support and develop you, giving you the benefits, opportunities and career path your energy and passion deserves.
However you see yourself fitting in to our Warehouse Team, you’ll be welcomed by talented and friendly people, who are committed to giving you all the support you need to succeed.
Team Coach Manager
It may sound a little cliché but no two days are ever the same for Gavin! He gets to work closely with the Operational Management Team to make sure that their training needs are met, but due to the nature of the business this can quickly change.
Starting out in the warehouse on the pick floor and currently working with HGV's has been an exciting process for Lewis. He appreciates being trained to the highest standards in his roles and having his voice and opinions heard. His best bits are the Next benefits, especially the pension scheme and the people he works with.
Being a motivated and confident person makes Next the perfect place for Emily to work. With 5 years so far at Next, she's excited for the next 5 to see what challenges will be thrown her way. Her favourite perk to date was the first aid training she received, and the graduate scheme she will be embarking upon in the coming months.
