Summary

The role

At NEXT, we never stand still. We are currently undertaking a significant finance transformation, moving our operations to Oracle Fusion. This isn’t just a system change; it is a fundamental shift in how we work, ensuring we remain a modern, control-conscious finance function that is ready for the future.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Change Lead to join our programme leadership team at Head Office. You will be the critical bridge between the programme and the business, ensuring our global finance team is structured and ready to operate effectively from day one.

As the Finance Transformation Change Lead, you will own the end-to-end adoption life-cycle. Reporting to the Head of Programme, you will lead the change management, communications, and training functions to maximise the benefits of this transformation.

Your mission is to mitigate operational risk at go-live by ensuring our teams are not only ready for the new system but are aligned with our new Operating Model and global policies. You will foster a culture of collaboration, breaking down silos to ensure our shared expertise is used to our advantage.

The role is offered on a 24 month Fixed Term Contract

What you'll take on

  • Lead the Transition: Develop and execute a tailored business adoption approach for specific finance functions, ensuring everyone understands their new roles and reporting lines.

  • Manage Impact and Risk: Lead Business Impact Assessments to bridge the gap between current and future processes. You will oversee User Role Mapping to ensure data security and segregation of duties.

  • Engage and Inspire: Create a clear communications roadmap that articulates the benefits of the change. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a knowledgeable partner who speaks with clarity and belief.

  • Empower Through Learning: Conduct skills gap analyses and oversee the creation of engaging training materials. You will manage a blended learning approach to ensure long-term knowledge sustainment across the team.

  • Drive Excellence: Implement processes to measure and report on successful adoption, using data to drive decision-making and ensure we continue to evolve.

What you'll bring

  • Transformation Expertise: At least 5 years of experience leading change or adoption in large-scale finance transformation programmes (such as Oracle Fusion or SAP S/4HANA).

  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of core finance processes and experience with User Role Mapping and Segregation of Duties (SoD).

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven experience in rolling out new policies and standard operating procedures alongside system changes.

  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding copy-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for everyone.

  • Resilience and Agility: A certification in Change Management (PROSCI, CCMP, or equivalent) and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can learn from challenges and go again.

  • Collaborative Mindset: A person-first approach to leadership, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without ego
