Next PLC, a FTSE 100 company, is looking for ambitious, driven, and talented analytical graduates to join our Credit & Risk Analyst Graduate Programme. What you will take on

As part of our structured Graduate Programme, you’ll:

  • Produce regular reports and carry out ad hoc analysis to identify trends, generate insights, and propose innovative solutions

  • Perform in-depth analysis to identify risks and opportunities within existing processes and decisioning strategies

  • Work with multiple data sources using Microsoft Databricks to inform and enhance credit risk strategies

  • Collaborate with teams across the business—including contact centre, marketing, customer experience, and technology—to implement portfolio strategies

  • Develop expertise in credit risk, balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements

  • Present insights and strategic recommendations using data visualisations tools like PowerBi to stakeholders, influencing decision-making

What you will bring

The Credit & Risk team run a business that generates >£180m profit annually. We’re seeking talented graduates who are motivated by high-impact decision making and are commercially driven.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree (or above) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related/STEM discipline

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Excel and ideally, experience with SQL/Python or similar tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

  • A proactive, driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Confidence in presenting insights and influencing decisions

  • A genuine desire to learn, develop, and build a long-term career in Credit & Risk
