Summary

The Role:

As a Senior Developer you will be working in an agile team headed up by a Lead Developer and a Project Development Manager, working alongside other developers and Product Owners to deliver quality solutions across a variety of technologies in CCX Tech to a busy Customer Contact Centre.

As a passionate developer, you'll be involved in the mentoring and support of other developers within the team. You'll also ensure that all development and code follows best practice, high levels of security, and meet the relevant industry standards.

You'll be required to understand and interpret technical specifications and turn them into working code, using a mix of technologies.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled in a broad range of development techniques with a proven track record of enterprise application design in an AI-driven development environment. This role demands strong senior leadership skills alongside exceptional technical mastery, where excellent collaboration and clear communication is key.

What You'll Take On:

  • Technical Excellence: With exceptional coding and analytical skills, you'll have strong commercial experience in .NET framework, C# and developing with SQL Server. You'll also have exceptional design skills for back-end systems architecture and front-end knowledge of MVC and JavaScript frameworks such as React.
  • Organisation: Highly organised, you'll be able to effectively align and coordinate project aims and deliverables, while providing detailed estimates for large and complex technical solutions.
  • Project Ownership: You'll also be motivated by the ability to take ownership of projects and quickly identify and resolve any issues. Experienced in working with the Agile and Scrum framework.
  • Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, busy technical environment and working to challenging deadlines. You'll also be able to build and maintain productive relationships within your team and across the business.
  • Innovation: Passionate about best design and coding practices, and a desire to champion and develop innovative new ideas.
  • Possess well-balanced analytical skills, able to confidently present and articulate technical information in a structured and logical manner to a less technical audience.

What You'll Bring:

Essential Criteria

  • C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript, React, Typescript
  • Azure DevOps/GIT, CI/CD, Source Code Control
  • Debugging tools such as Fiddler, Postman
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Energy and drive; willing to work long hours when required
  • Staying power; able to maintain personal motivation over the long haul
  • Team player
  • Able to demonstrate commercial experience designing enterprise IT solutions.
  • Excellent communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to interpret technical documentation, architectures and functional specifications
  • Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus).

Desirable Criteria

  • Excellent knowledge of usability, coding, accessibility and web standards.
  • Content Management tools: Help Site Content, Zendesk.
