Shift: Mon - Fri 08:30-17:00, 40 hours

As a Compliance Administrator, you will keep our transport operations safe, smooth, and fully compliant with legal and regulatory standards. You will play a vital role in supporting our drivers and transport staff, making sure everyone stays up-to-date with essential training and certifications. Working closely with our operational teams and supporting the Training & Compliance Manager, you’ll turn raw data into actionable insights and handle key training logistics. From day one, NEXT will support you with the tools, guidance, and training needed to help you settle into the team and succeed in your role.

What you'll take on

  • Administrate the Thrive Learning Management System (LMS), managing course uploads, scheduling training, and tracking mandatory completion rates like Driver CPC.
  • Extract and analyse data from tachographs and defect logs to build clear weekly operational compliance dashboards for management.
  • Monitor key transport KPIs—such as MOT pass rates and driver infringements—to support our monthly DVSA Earned Recognition submissions.
  • Keep precise, audit-ready records to ensure we continuously meet Traffic Commissioner and DVSA standards.
  • Provide direct administrative and diary support to the Training & Compliance Manager, coordinating external course bookings and delegates.
  • Handle general financial administration, including raising and reconciling transport purchase orders and processing company credit cards.

What you'll bring

  • Background in transport operations, fleet compliance administration, or quality assurance.
  • Great data skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and visual dashboards like Power BI, with high attention to detail.
  • Practical understanding of DVSA standards, Drivers’ Hours, Driver CPC, and the Earned Recognition scheme.
  • Hands-on experience using LMS platforms, ideally with Thrive LMS.
  • Strong organisation and time-management capabilities to juggle diary management and daily priorities easily.
  • Outstanding communication skills to liaise confidently with drivers, internal teams, and external training providers.

Benefits
